FELIXAccount deletion

Delete your FELIX account

This page explains how to delete a FELIX account and the data that goes with it: in the FELIX app, on the Web, or by email if you cannot sign in. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.

Erasure cannot be undone. Before you erase, you can download a copy of your data on the same screen.

In the FELIX app

  1. Open FELIX and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings, then “Your account data”.
  3. In the erasure section, type your handle to confirm, or ERASE in capitals if you never created a profile. Then erase the account and sign out.

On the Web

  1. Sign in at app.felixorigin.com.
  2. Open Settings, then “Download data or erase account”.
  3. In the erasure section, type your handle to confirm, or ERASE in capitals if you never created a profile. Then erase the account and sign out.

If you cannot sign in

If you forgot your password, reset it, then follow the steps above.

Reset your password

If you still cannot sign in, email FELIX and ask for your account to be deleted. Write from the account’s email address if you can, and give your handle. FELIX may ask you to confirm the request before acting on it. No response time is promised.

What is deleted

Erasure removes your posts and the replies beneath them, your replies, hearts and saved posts, your follows, blocks and community memberships, your notifications, the phones registered for push notifications and your push choices, your Suns with their history and your shop items, your trophies, grade and profile options, the links to your social profiles, your letters to Felix and the reports you filed about letters, your polls and your poll votes, your direct-message conversations, your community notes, and your private product feedback. Your public profile is replaced with a removed-account placeholder. Your sign-in details, including your email address and password, are scheduled for deletion 30 days after the erasure.

What is kept, and for how long

Reports, safety evidence, enforcement decisions and the record of the erasure can be kept for safety and accountability, and can still refer to the account. Reports and safety evidence are kept for 12 months after their case is closed, and moderation audit records for 24 months. Operational logs, service emails and backups are kept for no longer than 30 days, unless an incident, a legal hold or a provider limit requires a documented exception. A copy of your data that you downloaded stays wherever you saved it.
